HOPE

A couple weeks ago, I was having a particular hard day and I just didn't feel like doing anything....including going to church, which is new territory for me. I usually don't think twice about it but it took all my energy to just get off the couch to get dressed and get the kids ready. Heath was especially helpful and faithful that morning. Thank goodness when one of us is weak, the other is strong. After a long internal struggle, I went. I'm so glad I did. i was actually able to enjoy sac. meeting and the high council speaker spoke of HOPE. I remember this now because I need it now. I needed it that day too. There's always hope for a better day, hope in Christ and his atonement, hope in the future. I must not forget to HOPE. Amongst all my daily struggles, I pray there is a silver lining of hope within me.

On another thought, I've been practicing every Saturday for a stake musical performance and it's already blessed my life. I go there thinking about me and I leave thinking of others. I haven't gone to a practice yet when the director hasn't said something that I knew was for me specifically. I feel so lucky to be apart of it and that Heath has been able to watch the kids for me to participate. I know our family will be blessed.
